Teleleu, un proiect atipic pentru Romania

Nu stiu cum am ajuns la website (www.teleleu.eu), probabil am citit un articol pe unul din site-urile ziarelor din Romania. Este povestea a doi oameni care au avut curajul sa spuna lucrurile asa cum le-au vazut, lucruri pe care le auzim dar nimeni nu prea le aduce in fata, si cum mai toate proiectele lor necesitau multe zile "pe teren" s-au mutat intr-o rulota si au inceput sa colinde Europa (in special).

Am citit majoritatea posturilor intr-o singura zi, cu lacomia celui care ar visa sa faca asemenea "nebunii" dar poate nu are destule motive, sau se teme "de gura lumii", sau pur si simplu este prins in angrenajul vietii ca o povara.

Ce este interesant despre reportajele lor? Varietatea, tonul care nu judeca ci doar trasnmite mai departe ce personajele lor spun, din cind in cind observind comportamente si gesturi. Nu este nici o interpretare ci simplu documentare pentru un subiect. Majoritatea sunt oameni care-si povestesc viata, aduc hirtii in fata, isi implica chiar membrii din familie si reflecteaza asupra vietii asa cum s-a derulat.

Subtonul reportajelor lor este insa unul care aduce dovezi la cit de disperati sunt romanii, cum au decis sa faca gesturi majore pentru diverse motive:
  • o viata mai buna in alta parte
  • disperarea cotidianului si "fuga unde vezi cu ochii"
  • lipsa sperantei intr-o tara in care coruptia este coborita in cotidian si speranta nu mai exista
  • sacrificiul personal pentru o viata mai buna pentru copiii lor
Exista si o parte mai putin tensionata a aventurilor lor, calatorii pe alte meleaguri, vizitind locuri mitice sau faimoase intr-o maniera simpla, far nici o pretentie sau pre-conceptie. Toate subliniaza umanitatea gasita in locuri departe de tara, unde oamenii se ajuta intre ei, si cind limba este o bariera. Printre evenimente care pare comnune, vezi simple reflectii care spun, oare de ce oamenii se comporta asa (normal/anormal), de ce trebuie sa luam aceste decizii radicale.

Exista speranta in posturile lor dar si o condamnare muta pentru toti cei care s-au perindat la conducerea Romaniei, cei care in treizeci de ani dupa Ceausescu nu au gasit timp sa realizeze ca toti Romanii merita o soarta mai buna. De ce nu exista o oportunitate pentru fiecare membru al societatii in asa fel incit muncind normal sa ai o viata decenta? Sa nu trebuiasca sa consideri alternative care te forteaza sa-ti lasi familia, parintii, copii in tara si sa pleci, doar pentru a le asigura o viata decenta.

Tonul posturilor lor este amar si distant in acelasi timp, ca si cum nu ar exista scapare din aceasta situatie. Ideea este prea mult devenita parte din prezentul romanilor, si exista o aliniere de opinii ca nu prea se poate face nimic. "Cine sa vina si ce sa faca, toti sunt pe mina unii cu altii". Exista aceasta opinie ca sunt doua paturi sociale care desi traiesc in aceeasi tara, au doua viziuni total diferite despre ce inseamna Romania.

Teleleu, pentru mine, un emigrant traind de 20 de ani in afara, este ca o versiune a Mioritei in varianta moderna pentru romani: resemnarea ca situatia exista, o stim cu totii, dar ce se poate face? Cineva este zilnic sacrificat in cotidianul romanesc (populatia in general) si nu prea exista alta solutie mai buna la orizont.

P.S M-am gindit daca sa postez acelasi text in engleza, si am realizat ca sunt citeva impedimente. Teleleu.eu este numai in romaneste, si in plus, numai avind contextul evolutiei societatii romanesti in ultimii 30-40 de ani ai putea intelege multe din posturile lor unde in citeva propozitii se ascund realitati pe care le stiu cei care au trait acolo.

The Big Split

Photo by CDC on Unsplash   Detect immunity One of the numbers broadcasted every day is the number of COVID-19 patients who recovered. Instead of being fixed on detecting people with corona virus, we should be fixed on detecting the ones who had a mild version of corona virus or even were asymptomatic. Once we know they can freely move, socially mark them in a certain way (with a special certificate).  They could be the soldiers of opening closed businesses or helping important economic sectors. They are on the other side of the fear, all the COVID-19 restrictions should not apply to them. It is not known for how long is the immunity lasting, but at least, these people should come back and revive the industries and get the jobs and make the economy re-start. It is a small number, but they can propel some ideas for the ones in the isolation (see below). The sprint to stop an epidemic - Corona virus

It happened to have a few shares of the VIR Biotechnology ( VIR ) company when the chase of finding a vaccine started. It was an incredible ride, even for a guy accustomed with the up-and-downs of the shares in a company and the political game played when companies are bought or acquired. Just for illustration, please see the chart of this stock for a three month period. There is excitement, at the beginning  of March about the possibility of developing a vaccine for Corona virus, and the stock surpasses 70$/share when before is was lingering under the 17$/share threshold. There are many companies in the race - Moderna ( MRNA ), Gilead ( GILD ), Inovio Pharmaceuticals ( INO ) and probably a few of them will find a virus.
